1) EXACTLY WHAT DOES `CLOTHING-OPTIONAL` MEAN? top
If you choose to go topless or naked-- in the pool, on the beach or at the Skytop Jacuzzi and Lounge, you may certainly do so. But there is never any pressure for you, or any guest, to do anything which you find uncomfortable. Our guests are mature and sophisticated; a `live and let live`philosophy is key to the enjoyment of an alternative lifestyle.
Cover-ups, however, are required where food is served, in the lobby and certain other `public`areas. And although guests are expected to be fully dressed at the Disco, this does not mean that they can not be sexy; we are very open to SEXY. The couples-only PLAY ROOM, adjoining the Disco, is available to our guests who may want to explore alternative-lifestyle options.
2) PLAY ROOM ETIQUETTE top
Desire Resort & Spa is firmly committed to maintaining an ambiance that can only thrive in a couples` environment. Guests without a partner are welcome everywhere on the property, except in the Play Room, a strictly couples-only activity area.
3) IS SEX PERMITTED ON THE BEACH or in the SKYTOP JACUZZI and POOLS? top
No sexual activity is permitted in public areas. In order to be considerate of other guests and Staff, sexual activity should take place in the privacy of guests` rooms.
4) ARE DRINKS INCLUDED ONLY WITH MEALS? top
No. Desire is a fully All-Inclusive resort. All drinks, cocktails and refreshments are included, 24-hours a day. We offer a wide selection of internationally known brands. For guests who prefer certain premium brands or ones that we do not ordinarily stock, a reasonable surcharge is made.
5) WHAT BRANDS OF DRINKS ARE INCLUDED? top
Desire`s All-Inclusive amenities include an inexhaustible list of all-you-can-drink beverages, including classic cocktails, tropical delights, party punches and frozen drinks with or without the buzz. Our bartenders continually add new favorites that will help you stay cool and whet your whistle.

We request that cover-ups be worn in public areas that are not designated as clothing-optional.
7) IS PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED At THE RESORT? top
We know guests want to bring home memories of their Desire holiday, but in order to respect the privacy of all our guests; we ask that no photographs be taken in the clothing-optional areas.
8) IS THE FOOD AT THE SNACK BARS INCLUDED? top
Yes. All food-- snacks, buffets and gourmet meals --is included.
9) ARE THE NUDE AREAS OPEN TO OUTSIDERS? top
No. Although all beaches in Mexico are `public`, the resort is located on a very secluded stretch of beach along the Los Cabos.
10) ARE THE RESTAURANTS TOPLESS? top
Although the main restaurant is casual and comfortable, we expect that clothes will be worn. Men are required to wear shorts; women are required to wear a cover-up over their swimsuits. Shoes must be worn, and no wet clothes are allowed in the restaurant. In keeping with its sophisticated ambiance, elegant resort dress is expected when dining at Il Piacere: long pants, shirts and shoes for men, dresses or pants suits for women.
11) IS THERE SECURITY ON PROPERTY? top
Desire has its own security staff on premises that are well trained and concerned for the welfare of guests. You will feel as secure at Desire as you do at home.
12) DOES THE HOTEL HAVE ROOM SERVICE? top
Yes. Desire offers 24 hour Room Service.
13) DOES THE RESORT HAVE LAUNDRY SERVICE? top
Laundry service is available at an additional charge.
14) IS THERE INTERNET SERVICE? top
Computers with high-speed Internet service are available at an additional charge, in the computer room in the Lobby area.?? All guest rooms will have wireless internet service with a fee of $12.00 USD for 24 hours.
15) ARE DAY PASSES AVAILABLE? top
While Desire Resort does not offer day passes to the public, registered Desire guests may invite other couples to join them.
The cost of a Guest DAY PASS is:
$200/couple from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (or part thereof)
$200/couple from 6:00 PM -- 2:00 AM (or part thereof)
$400/couple from 8:00 AM - 2:00 AM (or part thereof)
Requests for a Day Pass may be made and purchased only by registered guests at the Front Desk.
16) IS THE RESORT FOR SWINGERS? top
Guests at Desire enjoy their privacy and see their vacation here as an opportunity to be themselves; they can dress sexy, dress up for theme nights, enjoy clothing-optional areas and partake in activities at which they feel completely comfortable. DESIRE appeals to liberated, upscale vacationers, nudists and swingers. The ambiance attracts a wide variety of guests, giving the resort a wonderful mix and personality. 17) ARE WATER SPORTS INCLUDED? top
Although this is a stunningly beautiful beach destination with gorgeous weather and miles of sparkling azure water, swimming is risky where the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific meet. Very steep drop-offs are close to shore, and dangerous and unpredictable rough currents with frighteningly powerful eddies and riptides limit guests` beach front activities to walks along the beach, games of beach volleyball and activities on Desire`s Beach Court.
18) IS AIRPORT TRANSFER SERVICE PROVIDED? top
Private, round-trip transportation to and from Los Cabos INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT is available at $70.00 (USD) per couple.

20 - WHY ARE PRICES HIGHER IN LOS CABOS THAN ON THE RIVIERA MAYA? top
Operating a resort in Los Cabos is a challenge. The pool of workers is small, food is more expensive to bring in and Food and Beverage operational logistics are daunting. Everything except local seafood has to be flown in daily to ensure freshness and maintain quality.
The additional cost of flights to Los Cabos makes Mexico`s mass markets (Acapulco, Cancun) more attractive to most budget-conscious travelers and tour operators. There is, however, a definite upside to Cabos` isolation: After the frenzied, steroid-induced hotel construction driving Cancun and the Riviera Maya, it`s refreshing to realize that Cabos will not suffer from over-development.
It's more than the location; Los Cabos is the place in Mexico to be. It's the lifestyle: adventurous, bare, coupled and chic. This was created for you. 22 - CAN WE HAVE SEX (ORAL ALSO) BY THE POOL? top
No, all forms of sex are prohibited at the pool, beach and general areas of the hotel. The areas designated for open dislpays of sex are only in the privacy of guest rooms.
23- WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO GET TO LOS CABOS? top
Privacy and exclusivity come at a small price, and Desire Los Cabos is well worth it. Check the map, and you'll see that Los Cabos is perfectly situated for its beauty--where the Pacific meets the Bay of Cortez-and the avoidance of throngs of group travelers. The driving route from the California border is an arduous 3-day, 1,000 mile journey. Flying is the only way to go.
24- WHAT MAKES DESIRE LOS CABOS SO SPECIAL? top
Scraggy, wind-crafted dunes sprinkled with monolithic cacti and interspersed with lonely patches of a tenacious beach grass march from the waterline to Desire Resort & Spa Los Cabos. Only 150` from the beach to the hotel`s entrance, the place has an other-worldly feel to it that marks much of Los Cabos.
